What is insured? My incident does not appear in the list!

The ticket insurance covers the following incidents:



Insured events

  • Unexpected Serious Illness
    • Acute, unexpected illness occuring after ticket purchase or unforeseen worsening of a pre-existing condition. 
  • Serious Accident
    • Acute accident occuring after ticket purchase. Due to the unavailability, the event cannot be attended. 
  • Pregnancy
    • Covered are pregnancies that occur after ticket purchase or unforeseen, acute pregnancy complications. The pregnancy must cover the event period and therefore continue beyond it. 
  • Significant Property Damage
    • Damage to property caused by fire, burst water pipes, natural disasters, or a third-party crime.
      • Your presence on-site is objectively necessary due to the damage.
      • Natural disasters:
        • Explosion
        • Storm
        • Hail
        • Lightning
        • Forest fires
        • Floods
        • Inundation
        • Avalanches 
        • Volcanic eruption
        • Earthquake
        • Landslide
  • Relocation due to a new job
    • The event may be cancelled due to a distance of more than 100 kilometers between the venue and the new residence, resulting from the relocation necessitated by the new employment. The prospect of new employment was not known prior to ticket purchase. 
    • The employment must last at least one year, be subject to social security contributions, and have working hours of at least 15 hours per week.
  • Death
    • Death of an insured person or person at risk, so the event is not attended. 
  • Public Transport Delay
    • Public transport is delayed by more than two hours. The event was still attended, but more than half of it was missed, and therefore the costs are being reclaimed. 
    • As can be seen from the definition, only a delay, but not a cancellation of public transport, is covered. 
  • Organ Donation
    • An appointment for the donation or reception of organs and tissues under the Transplantiation Act is covered.

Uninsured events


⚠️ If none of these apply, unfortunately your event is not insured. Uninsured events include, in particular:

  • Cancellation of an event (please contact the organizer directly)
  • Illness without confirmation 
  • No desire
  • Bad purchase
  • Vacation was revoked or not approved by the employer
  • A divorce/seperation with partner
  • An argument with partner
  • Public transport cancellation
